Elise Boutin, LPC- Associate

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Lauren Vaughn, LPC-S in Austin, TX. I approach life with humor and empathy and I am always trying to perfect the balance between prioritizing self-care and the people in my life. I spend much of my time trying to keep up with my ever-growing puppy, Winnie, named after Wednesday Addams. When I am not seeing clients or wrangling Winnie, I am often trying to find the best wedge salad in Austin. Recommendations are always welcome. 

I approach therapy as a collaborative process. The time we spend together is for you, and I want to make sure that you are getting what you need out of it. I encourage clients to push back if we are hitting on something that you are not ready for or if we are going in a direction that feels uncomfortable for you. I might have education and experience in counseling, but no one knows you better than you.
